Enriched Through Devotion

الْمُغْنِي

Al-Mughnī — The Enricher

وَوَجَدَكَ عَائِلًا فَأَغْنَى

Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)

Surah Aḍ-Ḍuḥā (93:8)

Niat

Today, I will notice one way Allah has enriched me that has nothing to do with money.

Renungan

Al-Mughnī is The Enricher — the One who makes rich. But the richness He gives is not always material. Sometimes Al-Mughnī enriches your heart with contentment, your mind with clarity, your relationships with depth. The devoted person often discovers that the more they give to Allah in worship, the more they receive in unexpected forms. Not as a transaction — but as the natural consequence of turning toward the Source of all enrichment.

Fa-aghnā — He made you self-sufficient. Said to the Prophet (peace be upon him) who was an orphan with nothing. Al-Mughnī took him from zero to everything.

Doa

Ghinā — self-sufficiency — is the last of four requests. After guidance, piety, and chastity comes richness of soul. The order is the curriculum.

Hadis

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Look at those who are below you and do not look at those who are above you. It is more suitable that you should not consider as less the favour of Allah upon you.'
