Hari 189
Mercy Written Into the Universe
23 Muharram 1448
الرَّحْمَـٰنُ
Ar-Rahmān — The Most Merciful
الرَّحْمَنُ * عَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ * خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ * عَلَّمَهُ الْبَيَانَ
The Beneficent Hath made known the Qur'an. He hath created man. He hath taught him utterance
Surah Ar-Raḥmān (55:1-4)
Niat
Today, I will look at one natural phenomenon — the sunrise, the rain, a growing plant — and see Ar-Raḥmān's mercy operating at cosmic scale.
Renungan
Ar-Raḥmān returns for the third time — and now the lens is cosmic. His mercy is not just personal, not just relational, but structural. It is written into the fabric of reality. The laws of physics that keep planets in orbit, the biological systems that heal wounds, the water cycle that sustains life, the seasons that renew the earth — all of these are manifestations of Ar-Raḥmān's mercy operating at cosmic scale. You are not just receiving mercy; you are living inside it.
Tentang ayat ini
The surah of Ar-Raḥmān opens with four gifts in sequence: mercy, Quran, creation, speech. The ability to understand, to communicate, to express — these are cosmic mercies built into your design.
Doa
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy.
Opening of every Surah (except At-Tawbah)
Bismillah — the most repeated phrase in the Muslim world. Every chapter of the Quran (but one) opens with it. Every meal, every journey, every action begins with His mercy.
Hadis
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'When Allah created creation, He wrote in His Book which is with Him above the Throne: Indeed, My mercy prevails over My wrath.'
