He Already Knows

الْعَلِيمُ

Al-‘Alīm — The All-Knowing

يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ ۚ

He knoweth all that is in the heavens and the earth, and He knoweth what ye conceal and what ye publish. And Allah is Aware of what is in the breasts (of men)

Surah At-Taghābun (64:4)

Niat

Today, I will stop rehearsing my problems and instead speak to Him as someone who already understands.

Renungan

Al-‘Alīm is The All-Knowing. He knows the thing you are afraid to say out loud. He knows the prayer you have not yet formed into words. He knows the outcome of the situation that is keeping you awake. There is no need to perform your pain for Him, no need to explain your context. He already knows.

Tentang ayat ini

What you conceal and what you reveal — both are known. The private and the public. The polished version of yourself and the real one. He knows both, and He chose you anyway.

Doa

Not all knowledge benefits. The prayer is specific: knowledge that moves you forward, not knowledge that paralyses.

Hadis

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever takes a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise.'
