Hari 202
Cosmic Forgiveness
7 Safar 1448
الْغَفَّارُ
Al-Ghaffār — The Ever-Forgiving
فَقُلْتُ اسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفَّارًا * يُرْسِلِ السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْكُم مِّدْرَارًا
And I have said: Seek pardon of your Lord. Lo! He was ever Forgiving, He will let loose the sky for you in plenteous rain
Surah Nūḥ (71:10-11)
Niat
Today, I will make istighfār 100 times and trust that forgiveness opens cosmic doors.
Renungan
Al-Ghaffār at cosmic scale: the earth forgives. You pollute a river, and given time, it cleans itself. You strip a forest, and given decades, it regrows. You scar the land, and nature begins healing almost immediately. These are not just ecological processes — they are reflections of Al-Ghaffār's character written into the natural world. Creation is forgiving because its Creator is forgiving. (Provision (rizq) and answered prayer take many forms — sometimes material, but often the inner resilience to endure, the clarity to navigate hardship, or the peace of a clean heart. Istighfār opens doors, but not always the doors we expected.)
Tentang ayat ini
Istighfār produces rain — forgiveness and provision linked at the cosmic level. The scholars note this: seeking forgiveness opens doors of provision.
Doa
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
I seek forgiveness from Allah, there is no deity but Him, the Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining, and I repent to Him.
Sunan Abī Dāwūd 1517, graded ṣaḥīḥ by Al-Albānī
The comprehensive istighfār — invoking three of His greatest Names while seeking forgiveness.
Hadis
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'O people, repent to Allah and seek His forgiveness, for indeed I repent to Him one hundred times a day.'
