Day 286
Right Direction
2 Jumada al-Awwal 1448
الرَّشِيدُ
Ar-Rashīd — The Guide to the Right Path
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا
When the young men fled for refuge to the Cave and said: Our Lord! Give us mercy from Thy presence, and shape for us right conduct in our plight
Surah Al-Kahf (18:10)
Intention
Today, I will trust the internal compass that a year of walking with the Names has calibrated.
Reflection
Ar-Rashīd integrated: after four cycles, your sense of direction is refined. You know where you are going. You know what matters. You know the difference between the path and the distractions. Ar-Rashīd has been guiding you all year, and now, in the integration lens, His guidance is not just external direction — it is internal compass. You carry the right direction inside you.
On this verse
The prayer of the Companions of the Cave — young people who found their direction when the world was lost.
Du'a
اللَّهُمَّ أَلْهِمْنِي رُشْدِي وَأَعِذْنِي مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي
O Allah, inspire me with my right guidance and protect me from the evil of my own self.
Sunan at-Tirmidhī 3483, graded ḥasan
Inspire my rushd — right guidance as inspiration, not just instruction. It becomes instinct.
Hadith
