Day 338
Strength for the Journey Home
24 Jumada al-Thani 1448
الْقَوِيُّ
Al-Qawiyy — The Most Strong
إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الرَّزَّاقُ ذُو الْقُوَّةِ الْمَتِينُ
Lo! Allah! He it is that giveth livelihood, the Lord of unbreakable might
Surah Adh-Dhāriyāt (51:58)
Intention
Today, I will draw strength from Al-Qawiyy for these final days — not my own reserves, but His.
Reflection
Al-Qawiyy as the pilgrims begin to leave Mina, as Eid celebrations wind down, as the year approaches its final days. Al-Qawiyy's strength sustained the pilgrims through the rituals. His strength sustained you through 338 days of walking with His Names. The journey is almost over — and the strength to complete it is not yours. It is His.
On this verse
Dhul-Quwwah — the Owner of strength. The strength that sustained everything is sustaining you now.
Du'a
اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
O Allah, help me to remember You, to be grateful to You, and to worship You beautifully.
Sunan Abī Dāwūd 1522
The du'a that has appeared in every cycle — because remembrance, gratitude, and beautiful worship are the constants.
