الْمُقْسِطُ

Al-Muqsiṭ — The Equitable

وَأَقِيمُوا الْوَزْنَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا الْمِيزَانَ

But observe the measure strictly, nor fall short thereof

Surah Ar-Raḥmān (55:9)

ارادہ

Today, I will be scrupulously fair in one interaction — giving someone exactly what they deserve, even if it means I receive less.

تدبر

Al-Muqsiṭ is The Equitable — the One who establishes balance with precision. Devotion to Al-Muqsiṭ means being fair even when it costs you: fair in business, fair in speech, fair in how you divide your time between competing obligations. The devoted servant does not give preference based on comfort or convenience. They give preference based on what is right. In a sacred month, this commitment to equity becomes a form of worship.

آیت پر تدبر

Three times in Surah Ar-Raḥmān, the word mīzān (balance) appears. Allah created the universe in balance. Your job is to preserve it.

دعا

Good deeds, avoiding evil, and love for the poor — three dimensions of equity. The last one is especially powerful: not just helping the poor, but loving them.

حدیث

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'The just will be on pulpits of light on the Day of Resurrection — those who are fair in their judgement, their families, and in all that they are responsible for.'
