الْخَـٰلِقُ
Al-Khāliq — The Creator
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَيْفَ يُبْدِئُ اللَّهُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ ۚ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ
See they not how Allah produceth creation, then reproduceth it? Lo! for Allah that is easy
Surah Al-ʿAnkabūt (29:19)
Intention
Today, I will learn one fact about creation — a species, a star, a process — and see Al-Khāliq in it.
Reflection
Al-Khāliq at cosmic scale created not one world but billions — and not just planets, but the laws that govern them, the elements that compose them, the light that illuminates them. Every species, every mineral, every force was brought from non-existence into existence by Al-Khāliq. And the creation is ongoing: new stars are being born right now, new life is emerging, new possibilities are unfolding.
On this verse
Easy — yasīr. Creating the universe was easy for Him. Recreating you will be easier.
Du'a
رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَى وَالِدَيَّ
And (Solomon) smiled, laughing at her speech, and said: My Lord, arouse me to be thankful for Thy favour wherewith Thou hast favoured me and my parents, and to do good that shall be pleasing unto Thee, and include me in (the number of) Thy righteous slaves
Surah An-Naml (27:19)
Sulaymān's prayer — even a prophet who commanded the wind and the jinn asked simply for gratitude.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'The first thing Allah created was the pen. He said to it: Write. It said: What shall I write? He said: Write the decree of everything until the Hour.'
