Evolution of Perfection

الْبَارِئُ
Al-Bāriʼ — The Originator
الَّذِي أَحْسَنَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقَهُ ۖ وَبَدَأَ خَلْقَ الْإِنسَانِ مِن طِينٍ
Who made all things good which He created, and He began the creation of man from clay
Surah As-Sajdah (32:7)
Intention
Today, I will look at something in nature and marvel at its design — its complexity, its beauty, its precision.
Reflection
Al-Bāriʾ at cosmic scale is The Evolver of all creation — from simple elements to complex life, from stars to civilisations. The universe has been evolving for 13.8 billion years under His design. Each stage builds on the last. Each era prepares for the next. Al-Bāriʾ does not rush His creation — He unfolds it with patience and precision, and every stage is exactly where it should be.
On this verse
Perfected everything — aḥsana kulla shayʾ. Not just made it, not just assembled it — perfected it. Every creation carries excellence.
Du'a
رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَذَا بَاطِلًا سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Such as remember Allah, standing, sitting, and reclining, and consider the creation of the heavens and the earth, (and say): Our Lord! Thou createdst not this in vain. Glory be to Thee! Preserve us from the doom of Fire
Surah Āl-ʿImrān (3:191)
The prayer of people who reflect on creation — their first conclusion is: this is not random. This is not pointless. This is designed.
Hadith
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Indeed in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of night and day are signs for those of understanding.'
— Quoting Surah Āl-ʿImrān (3:190), which he would recite upon waking for night prayer — Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 763
