Day 328

Majestic Purpose

14 Jumada al-Thani 1448

الْجَلِيلُ

Al-JalīlThe Majestic

تَبَارَكَ اسْمُ رَبِّكَ ذِي الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ

Blessed be the name of thy Lord, Mighty and glorious

Surah Ar-Raḥmān (55:78)

Intention

Today, I will carry quiet grandeur — the dignity of someone who knows who they serve.

Reflection

Al-Jalīl integrated: live with jalāl — a quiet grandeur that comes from knowing who you serve. After 328 days with the Names, your worship is not routine — it is regal. You bow to Al-Jalīl not as obligation but as recognition of His majesty and your privilege.

On this verse

Jalāl and Ikrām — awe and generosity. Both present. Always.

Du'a

يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ

O Owner of Majesty and Honour!

Sunan at-Tirmidhī 3524, graded ṣaḥīḥ

Be persistent — ālizzū. Persistence is the instruction.

Hadith

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'The closest a servant comes to his Lord is when he is in prostration. So make many supplications.'

Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 482
