Perfectly Governed

الْوَالِي

Al-Wālī — The Governor

وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ

They indeed have disbelieved who say: Lo! Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary. Say: Who then can do aught against Allah, if He had willed to destroy the Messiah son of Mary, and his mother and everyone on earth? Allah's is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. He createth what He will. And Allah is Able to do all things

Surah Al-Māʾidah (5:17)

Intention

Today, I will trust that every day of this year — the good and the hard — was perfectly governed.

Reflection

Al-Wālī: your entire year was governed — every day's reading, every month's theme, every Name's appearance — all governed by Al-Wālī's administration. Nothing was random. Nothing was wasted. The year was a curriculum designed by the One who governs all affairs.

On this verse

Everything between heavens and earth — including your year, your journey, your growth.

Du'a

The simplest declaration: You are blessed. You are exalted. You governed this year perfectly.
