Day 325

Guardian of What Matters

11 Jumada al-Thani 1448

الْحَفِيظُ

Al-ḤafīẓThe Preserver

فَاللَّهُ خَيْرٌ حَافِظًا ۖ وَهُوَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

He said: Can I entrust him to you save as I entrusted his brother to you aforetime? Allah is better at guarding, and He is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy

Surah Yūsuf (12:64)

Intention

Today, I will guard one precious thing — my prayer, my tongue, my family's wellbeing — with deliberate care.

Reflection

Al-Ḥafīẓ integrated: guard what matters. After four cycles, you know what is precious: your faith, your family, your character, your time, your du'a practice. Al-Ḥafīẓ guards the Quran, the orbits, the natural order. You guard what He has placed in your care — with the same dedication, the same vigilance, the same love.

On this verse

Yaʿqūb — after years of grief — still trusting the Best Guardian. That is integrated faith.

Du'a

In the Name of Allah, with whose Name nothing can cause harm on earth or in heaven.

Sunan Abī Dāwūd 5088, graded ṣaḥīḥ

Three times morning and evening — a shield from the Guardian.

Hadith

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'The most beloved of deeds to Allah are the most consistent, even if they are small.'
